I first encountered The Ghost in the Shell during my student days; back then, there was still so much I couldn’t
fully grasp, and I simply felt it was a mature, deeply gritty masterpiece. But as I grew into adulthood, I
truly touched the sheer brilliance of The Ghost in the Shell, harbored a deep admiration for it, and now, I
have been granted the privilege to intertwine my life with Ishikawa in this latest work.
If I were to
compare Ishikawa to a piece of furniture, I personally feel he is like a sofa.
